All in all the painting of the actual figure was
the quicker part of the deal.
The rest of the stuff was another matter.
I never actually pre-planned the base work
or anything else, just made it up as I went along.

That's both figuratively and literally.

She looked like she was relaxing after a hard day hitting
the books so that was a beginning and for any relaxing,
a bed seems a good place to start.
Constructed as a real bed would be, with slats, side bars,
foot board and head board, all out of out of ramin wood.

The turnings in the headboard were made up from cocktail stick just held
in the chuck of a mini drill, spun up and filed down.
