Guillows Boeing B-17G 1/28th Scale
A multitude of vac form parts so more than enough to keep anyone going for a while.
The first build was just the stick and tissue kind with some thin 1/64th sheeting I added for strength.
The two inboard engines were the powered ones, the outer props just freewheeled.

Aileron, elevator and rudder control was the order of the day for this big tailed bird.
Sadly though she was just too heavy to do the job,
my fault alone there so after unsuccessful flying she was stripped of all gear,
completely balsa skinned and turned into a static scale model.

Pics of that I do not have, shame really that turned out quite nice and
certainly took up some space on the club exhibition table.
