This kit has a bit more plastic than say the camel and SE5a.
The wing ribs, pilot and props were plastic, the rest was from
die-cut plywood, brass, copper and white metal castings.
The wing covering material was a large sheet of paper
with an almost parchment like quality to it.

The wing leading edge and spar was cypress and the trailing edge was copper wire.
The covering technique will be very familiar to any stick and tissue model builders out there.
The paper was glued to the edge then coated with a
very thin PVA and water mix which had the effect of
fixing the paper as it shrunk to a good uniform tension all over.
