Gotta have a decent fishing rod.
Main body assembled from lengths of brass tube soldered together,
diameter going from 1.5mm down to 0.5mm.
The rings were 5 and 3amp fuse wire turned around a
toothpick then soldered to the rod proper.
The reel was made from 9 brass parts,
the center spindle turned up on a lathe,
the rest was a matter of filing, grinding,
bending and polishing from sheet and wire stock.
The black grips from heat shrink sleeving,
the rear one likewise but over a piece
of turned walnut dowel.
Some fine clear nylon sewing thread and a
dab or several of acrylic semi-gloss black completes
the picture there.
Some of the bare brass left showing for effect.
