The base core of the master for the body shell was a resin coated
balsa wood lump carved to the as near as possible to the right dimensions as I could get.

I went out and spent a bleedin' fortune on books,
mostly of japanese origin for info on said machine.
After drawing some 3rd angle projection plans...
that 'A' level in technical drawing was suddenly proving useful,
I wound up with an idea of what I was facing.

So slowly but surely the main body took shape.
I didn't worry about the material I made the master from as
I had already worked out that it would be destroyed making the moulds.
The body shell ended up as a quartered mould made to be
bolted together so I could laminate in fiberglass.
The drop front where the lights go is a separate piece,
as is the chassis bucket.
